HubSpot’s New Pricing Model: What Changes from 1 October 2026

Quick answer: From 1 October 2026, new HubSpot portals in EMEA use a simpler seats-and-credits model. You choose one Edition (Starter, Professional or Enterprise), add GTM or Ops seats, and control usage with included credits plus optional packs. The old 73 SKUs drop to 23. Existing customers stay on their current pricing for now — no migration date announced.

If pricing used to feel like a whiteboard exercise, this change is designed to fix that. HubSpot wants you to pay for what you actually use, scale when you’re ready, and avoid large base fees or piecing together separate hubs. You’re in control of spend every step of the way.

This applies to new portals and new users only. If you already have HubSpot, nothing changes yet.

How the new model works: three decisions

Instead of buying separate hubs at different tiers, you make three choices:

  1. Choose your Edition — the platform level that matches your size and maturity.
  2. Add seats — GTM seats for people who engage customers, Ops seats for people who build the system.
  3. Add packs and credits — pre-load capacity for emails, workflows and AI agents so usage stays predictable.

One Professional seat now unlocks Professional-level features across the platform, not a separate Pro subscription for Marketing, Sales and Service.

Editions: Starter, Professional, Enterprise

Each Edition is the whole platform at that level. You can’t mix Editions.

Starter — for growing teams
5,000 credits included. Up to 10 paid users.
Essential tools: AI-powered outreach, contact enrichment, forms, targeted email campaigns, calling, website chat.

Professional — for mature businesses
10,000 credits included.
Comprehensive tools: resolve customer issues with AI, get found in AI search (AEO), keep deals moving, manage support channels, automate work, project future revenue.

Enterprise — for sophisticated organisations
15,000 credits included.
Advanced controls: multi-level user organisation, granular data permissions, multiple websites, sandbox testing, content approval workflows, connect multiple HubSpot accounts.

Credits reset monthly and don’t roll over. Additional credits can be bought in 1,000-credit packs (€10 each).

Seats: who needs what

There are two main seat types (plus view-only).

GTM Seats — for anyone who connects with customers (marketing, sales, service).
Full access to the Edition’s features, including Breeze Assistant and the Smart CRM. GTM seats include Ops seat access.
Ideal for: building content, running campaigns, moving deals, supporting customers.

Ops Seats — for people who support those teams.
Automation, governance, reporting, integrations, segments, data tools. They can see quotes, marketing emails and sequences but cannot create, send or enrol in the same way.
Ideal for: building workflows, setting permissions, connecting tools, building reports.

View-only seats give visibility without edit rights — useful for leadership or finance.

Prices at launch (per month, per seat, subject to VAT):

Seat type GBP EUR USD
Starter GTM seat £18 €20 $20
Pro GTM seat £90 €100 $100
Enterprise GTM seat £155 €175 $175
Pro Ops seat £44 €50 $50

A single Pro GTM seat gives Pro-level capability across the platform — a big shift from buying separate Pro hubs.

Credits and capacity packs: control the meter

HubSpot Credits power AI agents and certain usage (emails beyond packs, workflow actions beyond packs, etc.). Each Edition includes a monthly allowance. Packs let you pre-load capacity so high-volume activity doesn’t burn credits.

Email sending packs (monthly, capacity resets):
Small 2,000 sends · Medium 10,000 · Large 100,000 · X-Large 1,000,000.
Sends inside the pack do not use credits. Excess uses credits. One-to-one emails from a connected or hosted inbox do not use credits.

Workflow action packs:
Growth — 500,000 actions/month.
Scaled — 500,000,000 actions/month.
Actions inside the pack don’t use credits.

Agents packs (examples):
Base ~€25/month for lighter AI use.
Growth ~€400/month.
Scaled ~€1,500/month.
These cover prospecting, content, nurture, customer, revenue, data and knowledge-base agents. You can pause unused agents and reallocate.

You also get spend controls: set portal, feature and action-level limits, receive alerts at 75/85/90%, and pause features anytime. When you buy credits, the initial limit is set up to 50% above your monthly total so you have headroom without surprises.

Why this is better for finance and growing teams

Separating seats from usage lets you fix and cap budgets upfront. Choose seats, choose packs, and you know the monthly number. No surprise overages from one hub suddenly scaling. Smaller teams no longer need multiple Pro hub subscriptions just to unlock the features they actually use.

For new customers this is a more accessible entry point. Compare HubSpot against other platforms more easily. Existing customers remain untouched for now — keep watching HubSpot’s communications, as large model changes rarely stay permanent forever.

What should you do next?

Map your expected usage first: email volumes, workflow actions, AI agent needs, contact/record volumes. That gives a realistic monthly cost before you pick an Edition and seat count.
